MacDonald Interface to Service2000
Notable features:
- The MacDonald catalog provides the ability to configure your cost, and
your selling price
- Parts being imported are automatically created in the Service2000 database
if they are not already
there (as the Mitchell interface now does).
- Parts cost is taken from the catalog unless it is found in the Service2000
database, in which case it is taken from Service2000.
- The selling price is always taken from the catalog. This price will be used only for
the current ticket. The Service2000 database is not changed.
- All parts imported from the MacDonald catalog onto Service2000 service
orders are created in inventory. The issue of on-hand quantity is
ignored.
- With the Vendor Module activated, you will have an opportunity to put all the parts onto
a purchase order. They will be automatically linked to the service order.
- Currently vehicle information is not passed from Service2000 to MacDonald,
so it must be re-selected. This is a planned future enhancement.
- Any typos appearing on these screen captures have been corrected.
